After finishing as runners-up one year earlier, Royston Town have now been crowned county champions after winning the Herts Women's Senior Cup.
They beat Watford 3-1 in the final at Letchworth's County Ground to spark wild celebrations.
Their first chance came after 14 minutes, Amy Houghton’s good ball through to Jordanne Sillitoe ending with a shot that smacked off the crossbar.
Nine minutes later though the same player would be rewarded.
Emma Slater put pressure on the Watford keeper after a back pass had left her struggling and the clearing kick bounced off the Royston player, allowing Sillitoe to roll it into an empty net.
Royston were still pushing for a way to extend the lead but were caught by a sucker punch, Watford equalising with their first chance of the game despite Annie Georgiou's attempts to clear it off the line.
The Crows could have levelled but Sillitoe's personal battle with the frame of the goal saw the woodwork win again on the stroke of half-time, the post keeping another shot out.
A change on the hour paid instant dividends for Royston.
A long throw by Sillitoe bounced into the area and when Slater's header was saved, there was Lily Hall to score with her first touch after replacing Poppy Smith.
This time they got another shortly after to solidify their advantage.
Slater’s burst into the box was ended abruptly and after consultation with the linesman, the penalty was given and Charlotte South did the rest.
Royston could have made it four, Slater and Emily Smith both denied, and although Watford pressed late on to snatch something, the Crows defended superbly to see out the game and claim the trophy.
Royston Town: Elle Sarter, Tally Miles, Annie Georgiou, Erin Davies, Amy Houghton, Stacey Roper, Emma Slater, Charlotte South, Jordanne Sillitoe, Laura Mills, Poppy Smith.
Subs: Emma Todd, Emily Smith, Nicole Hendrick, Lily Hall, Amy Josland.
Royston's senior men fell to a 1-0 defeat away to Stourbridge in the Southern League Premier Division Central, Ethan Freemantle scoring 10 minutes into the second half.
The Crows finish their season on Saturday at Garden Walk when play-off chasing Stratford Town are the visitors.
A win would confirm a top-nine finish.
