Cambridge Arts Theatre has announced the cast for this year's Christmas pantomime - classic rags-to-riches fairy tale Cinderella.
Cinderella opens on Thursday, November 28 and runs until Sunday, January 5, and tickets are available from www.cambridgesartstheatre.com or by calling the box office on 01223 503333.
Matt Crosby, who is returning for his 19th pantomime at the arts theatre, will lead the cast as Buttons.
Matt has been the theatre's resident pantomime dame since 2012, with his most recent roles including Gertie Goose in 2023's Mother Goose and Sarah the cook in 2022's Dick Whittington and his Cat. He last performed as Buttons in the 2011 production of Cinderella.
Chloe Gentles will star as Cinderella. Her recent credits include The Addams Family at the London Palladium, Beauty and the Beast at Newbury Corn Exchange and the UK and international tour of Mamma Mia!
Cinderella's wicked stepsisters will be played by Harry Howle and Steven Roberts. Harry has played a wicked stepsister multiple times across various production companies, while Steven is returning for his second arts theatre production - having starred as Sammy Goose in Mother Goose.
Completing the principle cast are Jack Wilcox as Prince Charming, Julia J. Nagle as Fairy Goodheart, Stuart Simons as Baron Hardup and Alex Bloomer as Dandini.
The ensemble comprises of Taylor Alman, Danielle Cato, Oliver Imeson, Sophie Karaolis, Samuel Lithco and Sarah Jane Lowe.
Cinderella is directed by Michael Gattrell, who previously directed Mother Goose and Dick Whittington, and is written by Al Lockhart-Morley, Cambridge Arts Theatre's resident pantomime writer since 2014.
In 2023, Cambridge Arts Theatre welcomed more than 30,000 people during their production of Mother Goose. The show was nominated for two UK Pantomime Awards - best ensemble and best choreographer - subsequently winning for best ensemble.
Relaxed performances of Cinderella will take place at 10am on Saturday, December 7 and 11am on Sunday, December 22.
An audio described and captioned performance will be held at 2pm on Saturday, December 14, with a touch tour available.
A BSL interpreted performance will take place on Sunday, December 15 at 3pm.
