A garden centre is hosting a series of free events throughout October.

Dobbies Garden Centre will host the events at its Royston branch, including Grow How, Little Seedlings Club, and Little Seedlings Holiday Club, all of which are designed to encourage gardeners of all ages to enjoy the autumn season.

The events will also provide gardening tips and hands-on activities.

Ayesha Nickson, Dobbies' events programme manager, said: "Our fantastic range of free autumn events in our Royston store is aimed at giving families a fun and creative activity to get involved in.

"Whether you're a seasoned gardener or simply looking for some family fun, we have something for everyone."

The first event is Dobbies' Grow How session, which will take place on the first Saturday of the month, October 5, and every Wednesday in October at 10.30am and 3.30pm.

This session will teach participants how to decorate their doorways for autumn and Halloween.
