Royston community groups have received a share of £180,000 in grant funding from South Cambridgeshire District Council to continue their work.
From the funding pot, £14,250 has been allocated to organisations in Cambridge, while £167,400 will be shared among 11 non-profit groups in Royston and South Cambs.
These Service Support Grants are being awarded for advice services, independent living, mental health and wellbeing and to support the wider voluntary and community sector.
Among the recipients is Royston and District Community Transport (RDCT), which offers door-to-door transport seven days a week for people who cannot use conventional public transport due to age, frailty, impaired mobility or a lack of transport in the area.

Cllr John Williams, lead cabinet member for resources at South Cambridgeshire District Council, said: "Service Support Grants empower local volunteers and community groups to carry out a wide range of invaluable work.
"These funds are dedicated to ensuring that everyone in our community has access to the support and resources they need."
