Royston and District Probus Club - a group for retired professional and business men - has taken part in a variety of activities this summer.
Twenty-three members attended the August monthly lunch meeting, enjoying a two-course meal and a talk entitled 'LPAs made simple' by Gaye Illsley.
Gaye explained the importance of ensuring lasting power of attorney is in place before it is too late.
A group of 11 probus members also recently took a guided tour of Mansion House, the home and office of the Lord Mayor of London, which was built in 1527.
Royston and District Probus Club meets on the second Thursday of each month at Royston Golf Club. At every second meeting a speaker is invited to talk after lunch.
