An art-rock musical collaboration between US and UK artists is heading to Cambridge Junction next month.

San Francisco's art-pop singer-songwriter Nymphya and Brighton's rising star Rose Thorn will perform Outside of Time...Magical Music from The Dreamery for a single show at 8pm on Sunday, September 29.

The show is part of the production's debut UK tour, and is accompanied by a four-piece band.

Tickets cost £18, seating is unreserved and under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.

The performance last for two hours, including the interval.

Tickets are available from https://www.junction.co.uk/events/outside-of-time-magical-music-from-the-dreamery/.

The Dreamery aims to engage audiences through a musical conversation that weaves both artists' original compositions along with a few uniquely treated cover songs - telling stories depicting loss, magic and discovery.

The show combines live music with elements of spoken word, and will feature covers of songs by Kate Bush and Alanis Morissette.

Cambridge Junction describes the production as "a compelling show that reveals the intimate and personal worlds of these two remarkable artists from across different continents, cultures, and generations".

Nymphya is a former singer with the New York City Opera and San Francisco Opera, and has performed with John Cale of The Velvet Underground, on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and has supported Todd Rundgren and George Benson.

She is also a founding member of and music arranger for San Francisco's acapella cabaret group Screaming Divas.

Known for her distinctive and bold musical style, Nymphya has won numerous awards and authored and illustrated a coffee table book to accompany her most recent solo album 'What Have I Forgotten?', which was released in August 2023.
