Royston Photographic Society is celebrating the work of its members who have achieved success in national competitions and accreditations.
Over the summer, the society has profiled three of its photographers - and in August is turning the spotlight on Bob Coote.
Bob is an experienced photographer who has taken the craft seriously for around 15 years, following many years of family photography.
For nearly all of those 15 years he has been a member of the society, leaving behind film photography in favour of digital when he joined.
Bob's favourite subjects to photograph are insects and motion, although his favourite photography trip was to Yellowstone National Park a few years ago during a period of deep snow.
Here he produced memorable pictures of bison and a coyote scratching out an existence during winter.
Bob has achieved acclaim within the society for producing high-impact pictures and for continuing to improve over his years of membership.
During the last few months, Bob has received his greatest accolade in a competition, with a Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) Gold Medal awarded for his picture of a robber fly.
He has also achieved his highest photography award, receiving an EPAGB (Excellence in the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain) for a series of 20 photographs.
Society member Peter Baker commented: "It is so exciting to see someone excelling in their work yet still driving for further improvements."
For his photographs, Bob uses a DSLR (Canon 5D Mark III) and has yet to make a switch to mirrorless.

His favourite lenses are Sigma 150mm macro for his close up insect work and a Canon 100-400 zoom.
Bob is a member of Cambridge Camera Club and has friends in many other clubs in the area, but remains committed to Royston, which he has described as a friendly club with helpful members.
He credits his learning about the art of photography to many colleagues and friends, in particular local photographer Ann Miles, who is his greatest mentor.
Royston Photographic Society's regular club nights will return in September at 7.45pm on Thursdays at Icknield Walk First School.
