Singer Camille O'Sullivan will pay tribute to the late Sinead O'Connor and Shane MacGowan at Cambridge Junction.

Following a run at the Edinburgh Fringe, Camille is returning to Cambridge Junction at 8pm on Thursday, September 5 with her show Loveletters.

Camille toured for many years with The Pogues, of which Shane MacGowan was lead singer, and her new show pays respects to her departed friends.

In Loveletters, Camille will perform songs and stories about loss, love, joy, light and darkness, choosing music from some of her favourite writers including Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, David Bowie, Radiohead, Jacques Brel and Arcade Fire, as well as some new originals.

Tickets are available at https://www.junction.co.uk/events/camille-osullivan-loveletter/ or by calling the box office on 01223 511 511.

The show is suitable for ages 16 plus, and tickets cost £29.

Lauded by the BBC as "Queen of the Edinburgh Festival", Camille has performed to audiences around the world at the Sydney Opera House, Royal Festival Hall, La Clique, Royal Albert Hall and on Later with Jools Holland.

She is the original star of Olivier Award-winning circus and cabaret act La Clique, and won the Herald Angel award for her Royal Shakespeare Company solo performance 'The Rape of Lucrece'.

The Edinburgh show was praised in The Scotsman, who gave the performance five stars and said: "An artist at the top of her game pushing herself to be better and trusting us to keep up. It’s thrilling to watch."

Camille pays tribute to fellow Irish singers Sinead O'Connor and Shane MacGowan, who both died last year.
