A children's choir from Uganda is coming to Chrishall as part of a three-month UK tour.
The Watoto Children's Choir is set to perform free concerts at churches, schools and community spaces across the UK to promote their new album, entitled Better Days - There is Hope.
They will perform at Holy Trinity Church Chrishall on Wednesday, May 8 at 5.30pm.
Watoto is a charity which helps orphaned and abandoned babies and children and equips and empowers vulnerable women in Uganda and South Sudan.
The charity has sent children's choirs around the world since 1994 to share their message of hope for Africa's most vulnerable women and children.
During that time, the choirs have met the late Queen Elizabeth II, performed for the President of the United States, and visited almost every major country in the world.
A spokesperson for Watoto said: "Like Africa, the production is vibrant and colourful, taking you on an emotional journey as the children sing, dance, and share their personal stories of restoration and hope.
"The proceeds made from the album will help Watoto continue to provide vulnerable children with an education, medical care, a safe place to call home, and most of all the love of a family."
