A free home safety and security fair will be held in Royston next month to teach residents how to protect their property from criminals.
The fair will take place at The Old Bull Inn in High Street from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday, May 8.
Members of the fire, police and ambulance services will be on hand to give advice on crime prevention and keeping your home safe, along with representatives from home and vehicle security companies.
Royston Neighbourhood Policing Team PC Tom Woollard, who organised the event, said: "We’d like to see as many people as possible come along to the home safety and security fair.

"The reason for running the event is to educate members of the public about home safety and security, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to access various products and services available to keep them safe in and around the home.
"Attendees can expect exhibitors from various departments within Herts Police, Herts Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance Service, as well as companies providing CCTV and car, van and personal security advice."
Refreshments will be available to purchase from The Old Bull Inn during the event.
