New mums in Royston and surrounding areas are invited to socialise and share their experiences at Mamas Who Brunch.
The group was set up by Barley mum Katie Linard, who moved to the area from London two and a half years ago when she was pregnant with her second child.
Katie, who has two sons - three-year-old Oscar and two-year-old Alfie, wanted to create a social event where mums could meet and hear from childcare experts.
She said: "When I moved here I didn't know anyone, and I struggled to find a class that focused on mums rather than the babies.
"I wanted to create something more about the parents so they can meet other mums, and to give the mums access to experts like sleep consultants, midwives, doulas, nutritionists and lactation consultants.
"After having a baby you're left mostly on your own. I had a baby in Covid so I didn't even have a health visitor - there's no support network."
In addition to the monthly Mamas Who Brunch events, Katie has started an event in the holidays aimed at preschool-age children, with visits from children's entertainers.
Recent attendees include Little Ruggers children's sports club and Stagecoach Performing Arts.
She said: "It's hard to find holiday clubs for under-threes - they're normally for school age."
Katie has also started Families Who Brunch, which is aimed at pregnant people or new families.
Tickets for the Mamas Who Brunch sessions are available from https://www.ticketebo.co.uk/mamas-who-brunch/.
The next session takes place at Three 9 Eight Coffee Barn at The Woodman Inn, Nuthampstead from 10am to midday on Friday, January 26.
Tami Wornham from The Baby Days Sleep Consultancy will attend as a special guest.

Families Who Brunch will next be held at the same location from 10am to midday on Saturday, February 17, with Tami Wornham, Lucy-Jayne Costello from Lucy's Yoga and Baby Massage and a midwife and therapist from Bloom, Birth and Beyond.
This year Katie is expanding her business, with Mamas Who Brunch sessions launching in Bishop's Stortford and Cambridge.
She said: "The events support mums through the post-partum journey and help their mental health."
