A Bassingbourn man has been ordered to pay £350 after assaulting two people.
Raymond Fleming, 44, of Park View, Bassingbourn pleaded not guilty to assaulting a woman in Royston on November 17, 2022.
He also pleaded not guilty to assaulting a man in Royston on the same day - but later changed his plea to guilty.
Fleming was found guilty of the first assault in Stevenage Magistrate's Court on December 4.
He was sentenced on Wednesday, January 3, and ordered to pay compensation of £250 in relation to the first assault, and £100 in relation to the second.
