The Mayor of Royston was one of the attendees at the Methodist Church's October half-term holiday club.
The Adventure Cruise Holiday Club took place from Monday to Friday last week at Royston Methodist Church, for children age four to 11.
John Hardwick led the club as the 'skipper', accompanied by his popular puppet Charlie the Monkey.

Fifty children attended the club in total, with participants welcome to attend every day or on any day which suited them.
On Friday, October 27 there was a family picnic lunch and a dressing-up day, with Mayor of Royston Cllr Lisa Adams popping in for a visit.
The club runs each year in the autumn half-term week, with further information available on the RMC Holiday Club Facebook page.
