Royston Parish Church, St John the Baptist, has welcomed its new vicar - the Rev'd Dr Steven Sivyer.
Steven was welcomed in a service led by Bishop of St Albans the Rt. Rev. Alan Smith on Thursday, October 5. His wife Emma was also licensed as a lay reader.
The congregation was joined by representatives of other churches, Mayor Cllr Lisa Adams, councillors and representatives of Royston's organisations and businesses.

Steven, Emma and their children Nathaniel and Lydia were previously based at the Flegg group of churches in Norfolk.
Steven said: "I am honoured to be called to be the Vicar of Royston, and I look forward to getting to know people from across the town, and to serve the whole of the community."
