Dozens of people "raised the roof" at Royston Town Hall for the launch of the town's Somewhere 2 Sing choir.
The choir held a launch event on Monday (September 4), with more than 60 people attending.
Choir leader Teresa Wells and her team welcomed potential new members, and started by teaching songs from the choir's repertoire, including 'Only You' and 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough'.
Mayor of Royston Cllr Lisa Adams officially opened the session - and also took part in the singing - before everyone celebrated the launch with a glass of fizz and a cupcake from local bakery Kelly's Kitchen.
Somewhere 2 Sing choirs encourage everyone to join, regardless of their level of experience.
They also organise large-scale experiences for their membersa and smaller events for local choir groups.
This year members have performed at St Albans Cathedral, Disneyland Paris, Covent Garden and Abbey Road Studios - where singers recorded their first mini-album.
Choir leader Teresa said: "It doesn’t matter what singing you’ve done before, for it’s in the power of the ensemble and singing and developing together that we achieve such great results."
