Freshly returned from recording at London's Abbey Road Studios, Somewhere 2 Sing choir is launching new sessions in Royston this September.
The choir was founded in 2016 by Hertfordshire-based Duncan Rutherford, and now welcomes 600 members every week in classes across the region.
More than 350 singers came together at Abbey Road over the weekend to record the vocals for their first mini album.
Now with a new group launching in Royston, the choir is continuing its mission to spread the joy of singing - without the need to audition or have any singing experience.
Duncan said: "It's remarkable. I never thought we’d be able to reach this many people through the power of music but we continue to grow, laugh and sing together, and provide a place for people to really belong.
"Now we have a dozen or so classes running each week, the number of amazing opportunities we can offer our singers is really exciting.
"In the last year alone, for example, we’ve been able to perform at St Albans Cathedral, Disneyland Paris, record at Abbey Road Studios and raise money for charity by singing in Covent Garden Piazza."
While at Abbey Road, the choir recorded three songs: 'When We Were Young' by Adele, 'This Is Me' from The Greatest Showman and an original song called 'Live For Now', which was written by Duncan and influenced by some of the choir's members.

Duncan added: "I wanted to keep the song relevant to the group, and we’d heard from our members that when they were thinking of joining the choir many were nervous and anxious about doing something new, and some would actually put off coming along for months and in some cases, years.
"The hope is that our song will inspire others to take that leap and either join a choir or pursue an activity or goal that is important to them, even if they feel a sense of trepidation about it."
'Live For Now' was filmed and edited by Ross Simpson of Woodbury Recording Studios, and a music video will be released on YouTube.
Royston Somewhere 2 Sing sessions start at the Town Hall at 7.30pm on Monday, September 11.
