Foxton Scarecrow Festival is returning in the autumn, with visitors invited to come along and enjoy the villagers' creations.
The festival will take place on Saturday, October 7, from midday to 5pm.
This year's theme is 'films', and visitors can wander through the village seeing if they can identify the films portrayed en route.
There will be fundraising activities to take part in along the way, including quizzes for children and adults and a 'Where's Wally?' challenge to see if you can find the scarecrow hidden somewhere in the village.
Families can also enjoy a tombola, a raffle and games, and vote for their favourite scarecrow.
Visitors can stop at various venues around the village for refreshments, with bacon butties, homemade soup, tea and cakes on offer.
The 'Impromptu' band will play at the village hall during the afternoon, and there will be a Makers Market with craft stalls to browse.
The festival is suitable for all ages, and will end with a prize-giving and a performance by the Foxton Singers.
Proceeds from the event will go towards St Laurence Church, Foxton School and Pre-School.
St Laurence Church has stood at the centre of the village for 1,000 years, and is a Grade I-listed building with five bells in the tower, and some parts dating back to the 13th century.

Programmes will be available on the day from the church, the village hall and the village shop.
The festival takes place every other year, making this the first event since 2021. The 2021 festival saw children's book characters brought to life in scarecrow form, with the winning display depicting Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson.
One Foxton villager said in 2021: "There’s no rural decline in Foxton. It’s a thriving village, and everyone comes together when there’s an event and when they are required to.
"It’s one of the best communities in South Cambridgeshire."
In 2019 the festival saw another huge array of characters - from Harry Potter to Paddington Bear, Willy Wonka, Fireman Sam and Spider-Man.
