Minstrels, jesters, mummers players, storytellers and more gathered in Royston for a medieval pageant.
The pageant, which celebrated all things historical, took place at Priory Memorial Gardens on Saturday, July 1.
Crowds were entertained by travelling storyteller the Yarnsmith of Norwich and his tales of sneezing donkeys and clever wenches.
Folk heroes George and the Dragon and Robin Hood also made an appearance, along with a genuine blacksmith.
Visitors had a chance to learn ye olde jester skills, such as the diabolo and devil's sticks.
Royston Scouts ran a successful axe-throwing activity, while many visitors - including Mayor of Royston Cllr Lisa Adams - tried to improve their archery skills to join Robin Hood's Merry Men at an activity run by Royston Heath Archery Club.
The event - organised by Royston Events Partnership - also featured traditional medieval, or 'mummers', plays, and bardic storytelling with authentic medieval music.
Visitors were invited to attend the pageant in historical costume.
