The annual A10 Awareness Cycle Ride, promoting safe cycling between Cambridge and Royston, takes place this Sunday, June 11.
This year the A10 Corridor Cycling Campaign is partnering with the Meldreth Shepreth and Foxton Community Rail Partnership to champion all forms of active travel.
Sarah Burge, of Fowlmere, will be cycling with her daughter Connie, now 10, who took part in the the same ride in 2016, aged three.
The A10 Corridor Cycling Campaign was formed in 2013 to support safe cycling between Cambridge and Royston.

Campaign founder Cllr Susan van de Ven said: "The network of paths between Trumpington Park and Ride and Melbourn has made it possible to cycle this stretch, where before 2013 there was no provision for safe active travel.
"A safe link between Melbourn and Royston is needed more than ever and we are supporting the Greater Cambridge Partnership’s efforts to make this a reality as part of the Melbourn Greenway.
"It’s good to know that detailed design work for a bridge is under way – and will be ready to capture any funding opportunities."
Cyclists will depart from Trumpington Park and Ride at 10am, and walkers and scooters will depart from the Melbourn Hub at 10.15am, all meeting up at Phillimore Garden Centre front lawn around 11am.
At Phillimore, Royston Cycles will be providing electric bikes to try out, and Melbourn Science Park’s Dr Bike service will be on hand for cycle checks and repairs.
Royston Tesco will be providing bananas to add to any donations of cakes. Please bring your own water bottle.
The event takes place during national Bike Week.
