Royston husband and father Russell Jones, who was killed in a crash on the A505, was a serving Herts police officer.
Russell, 36, was on the westbound A505 at Fowlmere on Tuesday, March 28, when his motorbike was involved in a collision with an HGV travelling in the opposite direction. He sadly died at the scene.
Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Deputy Chief Constable Bill Jephson said: "The investigation into the circumstances of the collision that led to the death of Sgt Russell Jones remains under investigation by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit.
"In the meantime our focus is to ensure that his family and colleagues receive all the support they need at this difficult time."
