A Meldreth woman has been fined more than £800 for harassment and resisting a police officer in Royston.
Tamar Adyb, 50, of Gables Close, was charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, causing harassment, alarm or distress against a person in Royston on May 19, 2022.
She appeared at Stevenage Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, January 11, and was fined £499, ordered to pay a £67 victim surcharge and to pay £85 of costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Adyb was also charged with resisting a police constable in the execution of her duty on the same day, and was fined £166.
Her guilty plea was taken into account when imposing sentence.
