John Chalkley - John, of Meldreth, passed away peacefully at St Georges Nursing Home, Royston, on Monday 27th February 2012 aged 79 years. A loving husband to Barbara and a much loved father to Alison. A Service of Thanksgiving will take place on Thursday 8th March 2012 at Meldreth Parish Church at 2.30 pm. Donations in Johns memory can be made payable to The Zippers Bowlers Association and can be left at the church, or sent c/o Newlings of Royston Funeral Service, Kingfisher House, Fish Hill, Royston, Herts SG8 9LB.
