John Smith of Royston, passed away after a brave battle at Addenbrookes Hospital on 1st December 2012 aged 73years. A beloved husband of Shirley, a greatly loved father and father in law to Steve, Hazel, Liz and Jeff. A much loved grandad and great-grandad to Rachel, Sam, Annie, Jack, Molly, Harry, Jenny, Laura and Zoey. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The Funeral service will take place on Friday 14th December 2012 at 11:30am at Royston Methodist Church followed by a committal at Cambridge Crematorium in the West Chapel. Family flowers only please by request, donations in memory of John can be made payable to Addenbrookes Charitable Trust and can be left at the back of the church or sent c/o Newlings of Royston Funeral Service, Kingfisher House, Fish Hill, Royston, Herts SG8 9LB.
