BANNER Ione Dorothy of Piddletrenthide, Dorset, formerly of Royston Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 27th February aged 86 years. Wife to the late Sqdn Ldr Gordon Banner and much loved Mum and Mother-in-law to Bridget, Peter & Lynsay, Anne & Des, Jen & John, Mike & Liz, Cathy & Roy. Ione adored and took great delight in her 14 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all. Ione touched the lives of many running the nursery at The Mount, teaching at Icknield Walk First School and then Head teacher at Reed First School. There will be a private internment for the family, followed by a funeral service celebrating Iones life to which all are welcome: Monday 11th March at 11:30 at Piddletrenthide Church, Piddletrenthide Family flowers only, please.
