John Ernie Williamson. John who recently celebrated his 90th birthday, passed away peacefully amongst family after a long battle with increasingly ill health. Devoted husband to the late Jill for over 60 years. Father to Gary and Jayne. Loving Grandpa to Tom, Saskia, Emily, Piers, Beth, Annika, Hendrik and Klarissa and more recently to 9 beautiful great grandchildren whom he adored. He will be sadly missed and forever in our thoughts. Funeral to take place on Friday 17th August at 11.15am at Cambridge Crematorium (west chapel) and afterwards at Royston Bowls Club. Family flowers only please, donations can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Unit, Addenbrookes Hospital (cheques payable to A.C.T) and Royston Museum if desired; all other enquiries to Jeremy Rule Funeral Services, 12 Church Lane, Royston, SG8 9LG. The family would like to thank St Georges Nursing Home for their care and support over the past 6 months and to all his neighbours and friends who continued to visit him at the home and to those who attended his recent birthday celebrations at Royston Bowls Club.
