Suddenly, but peacefully, on Thursday 7th May, at her home in Royston, aged 101 years. Kay taught many generations of Royston children, firstly at Market Hill Infants School and latterly at Tannery Drift Primary school. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A private burial has taken place. Donations, in memory of Kay, are gratefully accepted for The Wood Green Animal Shelter and may be sent to Jeremy Rule Funeral Service, 12, Church Lane, Royston, Herts SG8 9LG. KAY GIFFEN
