Darling mother, intelligent scientist and giggling student - just a few ways to describe Alison Rose Stacey. Schooled in Pershore, Alison went on to university in Aberystwyth where she and her friends, the Aber-chics, were first established. Alison enjoyed a few years of backpacking before she settled to complete her doctorate in Porton Down. She married Glyn in 1986 and celebrated with a trip to Egypt. 7 years later, along came their first-born angelic Emily, shortly followed by a loud Vicky. Alison always enjoyed going for walks at the Lake District, singing to songs on the radio and pottering around in her garden. Considering Alison's ongoing battles with her health, she remained an inspiration to all of us. Alison leaves us with a true role model, one to aspire to and follow in their footsteps.
