PEGGY ABREY
Proud resident of Melbourn, Peggy passed away peacefully on 21st December 2021 aged 91 years. A devoted wife to the late Gerald, a lifelong friend to Sally and a loyal cousin to many, Peggy was always a good friend and a prolific storyteller. Peggy is the last Abrey to leave the village since they arrived in 1862. The funeral service will take place on Friday 14th January 2022 at All Saints`Church, Melbourn at 2:00pm followed by a committal at Cam Valley Crematorium. Family flowers only please, if desired donations in memory can be made via Peggy`s In Memory Page at www.newlingsofroyston.co.uk or cheques made payable to East Anglian Air Ambulance and left in the church or sent c/o Newlings of Royston, Fish Hill, Royston, Herts SG8 9LB.
