ROBERT GEORGE CAMPBELL (BERTIE, BOB) Major in the Salvation Army, formerly of Shakespeare, Royston, was promoted to glory in the service of his God and King on Friday 24th December 2021 aged 74 years. Greatly loved husband of Christine, father to David and Fiona and Grandad to Alice, Bobby, George and Florence. A funeral service will take place on Thursday 20th January at 10:30am at the Salvation Army Citadel, Battery Green Road, Lowestoft, followed by a committal service at St Michaels Church, Oulton Broad, Lowestoft. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made either on the day or by cheque payable to 'The Salvation Army, Lowestoft Citadel', to benefit the local community projects fund, and may be sent to the funeral directors, Gordon Barber Funeral Directors, 13 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RU.
