Parents in Royston and surrounding areas can join a new online networking community which was founded by a Barley mum.
Katie Linard moved to Barley from London more than two years ago, when she was pregnant and already had a one-year-old.
As she did not know any other new mums in the area, she set up a group called Mamas Who Brunch for new mums and mums-to-be to meet others and make friends.
Now, along with fellow mum and Jodie Wilson, Katie has founded Mama's Little Black Book, which is an online platform built 'by parents, for parents' - inspired by their experiences running businesses while raising young families.
Mama's Little Black Book will offer a directory so parents can be connected to experts who can guide them through the ups and downs of raising children.
These can include private midwives, pelvic floor experts, sleep consultants and more.
The website is already up at mamaslittleblackbook.co.uk, and promises to be a "vibrant community dedicated to parents and experts in the family and parenthood industry".
When the platform launches on Wednesday, September 11, members can either choose to join the 'parents' or 'experts' network.
A statement on the website says: "The inspiration behind Mama's Little Black Book comes from its founders, Katie and Jodie – two mothers who know first hand the challenges of juggling parenthood and running a business.
"They’ve felt the loneliness that can come with being self-employed while raising a family, and they’ve channelled that experience into building a community that offers real support.

"Katie and Jodie are passionate about creating a space where parents and experts can come together, not just to share information, but to build lasting relationships, spark conversations, and inspire each other."

Those who join can win a ticket to a September brunch with Mamas Who Brunch and a complimentary Christmas photoshoot from Jodie's photography business.
